Customer review for Pinnacle Skis

The following is a copy of an email sent to us at Pinnacle Skis from a very happy customer....

Hey Claire,

We're back from the Wild Coast now, had an awesome time. I only managed to get out to sea once while I was there as there were generally South Westers and, being the only one with a ski, I didn't want to chance it. The day I did get out was fantastic. Calm seas and clear water and I once again saw turtle and dolphin swimming past me. I also received a visit from a big Dorado and I had an Onde Spoon ready for him, which he leapt at. Unfortunately in my bleary-eyed rush that morning I hadn't secured the reel properly so it promptly popped off and he managed to snap the slack line whilst I was re-securing it. Lesson learned. I caught and released plenty of reef fish, though, and the ski once again supplied supper in the form of a Blue Bream.

As for my thoughts on the Pinnacle, I am super impressed! It is a massive progression over my ski that I was paddling previously. The speed through the water and tracking is superior and it just felt like a much more together craft. On the days that I didn't go out I had fun surfing it in the waves, often with my wife sitting on the front and it handled beautifully. It even came in use once to rescue a swimmer who was caught in a nasty rip (cue Baywatch music).

It took on very little water while I was at sea unless I got rolled and the fittings and finishings are all top quality. I've been trying to pursuade my dad to get a ski as well and I'm confident that if I'm successful he'll also choose a Pinnacle.

You guys not only produce a superior product but your service has been top-notch as well and I'll recommend you guys strongly to any other anglers.

Thanks for all your work

Their fishing successes over the recent year's competitions, has ranked them amongst the top 25 Kayak Fishermen for the last season.  This has guaranteed them a fishing spot in the year-end competition to be held at the beautiful Coco Rico Resort in Ponto do Aura in Mozambique. This "winner-takes all competition" will take place over the course of the first weekend in February 2010. I will be holding thumbs for all the Pinnacle Fishermen and will keep you updated on the competition results. A big Thanks must go to Shaun and Jasper of Fishing Corner, who have made this exciting competition a possibility !!
